From here, we cross to Santo Antão — an island of breathtaking contrasts, with towering volcanic mountains, dramatic coastal cliffs, deep valleys, and lush green terraces carved into an otherwise rugged landscape.
Our adventure continues to Fogo, home to one of the Atlantic’s most fascinating active volcanoes. Here, we’ll explore otherworldly lava fields and experience the unforgettable challenge of climbing Pico do Fogo.
Along the way, we’ll discover the warmth of Cape Verdean hospitality, the rhythms of local music, and a unique cultural identity shaped by African roots, European influences, and a complex history that includes the transatlantic slave trade.
